Hello again!
I was born and raised in India and currently live in Pune. Some people know me by the name Damien – a name I chose in 2019 while living in France, when my given name proved difficult for some to pronounce.
What I do
I began my professional journey in 2010 as a freelance web developer and gradually transitioned into a Project Manager role. My move into management was driven by a growing interest in leadership and agility, not merely as frameworks, but as ways of working with people, responsibility, and change.
Over the years, I’ve come to realise that while leadership roles are common, thoughtful leadership is not. This curiosity continues to shape how I approach my work. I try to integrate a yogic way of living into the corporate environment, observing challenges, decisions, and team dynamics through a more conscious and balanced lens.
Alongside my professional work, writing and blogging have been a steady practice for several years now. They serve as a space for reflection, helping me connect experiences from work, yoga, and everyday life, and make sense of them.
Yoga and French hold a special place in my daily routine. While my primary role is that of a Project Manager, I teach yoga occasionally and remain actively engaged with the French language through continuous learning and writing.
My perspective on life
Living in a fast-paced world has made me more conscious of the importance of self-development. I invest time in this journey deliberately, allowing growth to unfold both personally and professionally. Yoga, in particular, has quietly shaped my perspective on life, influencing my choices, values, and way of being. To me, life is an art, an opportunity to craft a colourful tapestry.
Modern life is complex. In the midst of routines and responsibilities, we often overlook meaningful opportunities simply because they don’t fit neatly into our schedules. This is something I reflect on often, especially when observing how everyday actions affect my overall well-being.
I remain open to new ideas and endeavours, drawn to the energy and curiosity they bring. This personal project reflects that spirit, a space where I share thoughts, practices, and insights around self-care, self-improvement, and living well.
This space is an extension of that curiosity — a place for reflection, exploration, and shared learning. Let’s chat and share a good laugh. 🙂
